We made the journey up into the mountains to the village. The kids were still in school which gave us the opportunity to put together their bunk beds.
It was rewarding for all of our labor to see the kids faces when they saw their new beds.
A couple of us also went up to the school to navigate the painting we will do today.
Upon the kids return to the home they began a football (soccer) game. I regretfully (today am paying for it) joined in for the fun. The kids of course ran circles around me, but we all had fun.
We also made paper airplanes with the boys while the women painted the girls toenails.
Sheer joy over the simplest of things is reflected on the faces of innocent children.
After crafts and games the children ate dinner. When the kids were done they cleaned their trays and went back to playing while the mission team sat down to eat.
Later that evening we all gathered for worship and prepared our hearts for another day. This morning we head to the school to do some painting and teaching.
