We headed back to the home earlier in the day to try and beat the Thai heat.
Upon arrival at the home we were met by the bright and smiling faces of the children. After brief introductions we resumed the work we had started the day before.
Some of us broke off and started to attach chicken wire fencing to the concrete post we had installed the day before. The remainder of the group began to prep the exterior of the building for painting.
Even though we had gotten an earlier start the heat was still intense.
Attaching wire fencing with a heavy gauge wire was tedious at times.
With the sun beating down, many of us had to be careful with dehydration. Meanwhile the Thai boys that were helping barely broke a sweat.
We broke for a delicious lunch that was prepared by the hands of the children that stayed at the house.
After lunch we resumed work on the fence and painting.
When we were done with projects we broke for worship.
There is something incredibly beautiful when people from different cultures can share worshiping the same God.
We had the opportunity to break bread, pray over, and be prayed over by the children. Children that wanted nothing more than to know they were loved and repay with Christ-like love in return.
Rain began to roll in as we departed the home and head back towards the hotel. It was just enough to cool us off in the back of the truck and increase the already heavy humidity.
That evening we were on our own for dinner. We broke off into different groups to take in the Chiang Mai night market.
Today we will be spending the day with the children from the home. Having the opportunity to share and love on them some more.
Be sure to subscribe to follow along on our journey. Thank you for all your prayers.
